Angela Boeva is an award-winning culinary artist with a vision of building a warm and soulful culinary experience using a twist on the traditional supper club model. A desire to produce experiences based on originality of thought and expression, using her culinary mastery to connect people through the gravitational force of food.
We worked together to create a brand that saw who they served not as an audience, but as a community. A tribe of people united by a mindset. The key insight? This isn’t about enjoying just a menu, It’s about being immersed in a culture.
Building from the ground up we developed a visual identity that holds Angie, as the director of the transportative experience, at the core. We designed an easy-to-implement set of elements and systems that radiate warmth, spirit, and the raw nature of cooking. Enabling a glimpse of her cooking flair, ingredient sourcing morality, and the human nature of her venture.
A rich set of colours picked from nature act as canvases for historical imagery of spirited food-centric scenes, a nod to the depth food has on the history of communities around the world. The wordmark is inspired by scripts from around the world, and the monogram is a nod to the significance of the plate. The linework derived from her handwritten recipe notes and abstracted representations of the ingredients from around the globe drive her culinary artistry. The elements find their home on raw/unmolested tactile material as a nod to her sustainable promise of farm-to-table. A photography guideline outlines the capture and expression of each stage of the experience, resulting in (On the tools > On the plate > at the table) triptychs.
